YANG -YIN LESSON 

every Thursday at 12.30 at The Holistic Corner

A Yang and Yin Yoga class offers a balanced practice that combines dynamic and passive elements to promote overall well-being. The class begins with Yang Yoga, featuring active and energizing movements such as standing poses and flows that build strength, flexibility, and stamina. This part of the class increases circulation and warms the body. It is followed by Yin Yoga, which involves holding passive poses for several minutes to target deeper connective tissues and encourage relaxation. This sequence allows for a harmonious blend of activity and stillness, helping to cultivate balance, mindfulness, and a sense of inner calm.

HATHA LESSON

every Monday and Thursday at 9:45 at ManaYoga Studio

A Hatha yoga lesson focuses on gentle, mindful movements that combine physical postures (asanas) with breath control (pranayama) and relaxation. The session typically begins with a grounding warm-up, followed by a sequence of poses designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. Throughout the class, emphasis is placed on slow, controlled breathing and proper alignment, fostering a sense of calm and inner awareness. The lesson usually concludes with a guided relaxation or meditation, leaving participants feeling refreshed and centered. Suitable for all levels, Hatha yoga provides a balanced approach to both physical and mental well-being.

Zulal Ece Sonmez

Carmen is the sweetest soul. She brings a joyful and caring energy to her yoga class. By the time we finished with the yin part, I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. She encourages her students to push passed beyond their limits with compassion and humility. You will hear her giggle with you, if you are struggling with a pose. Thank you so much for the safe and caring space you create Carmen!
